Logging In: Where is my code?
If you’re waiting for a verification code and it hasn’t arrived, don't worry. It’s almost always a quick fix. Here is how to get into the platform.
1. The Quick Check
- Wait 2 Minutes: Sometimes the internet is just slow. Give our servers a moment to reach yours.
- Check Your Spam/Promotions: This is the #1 culprit. Because verification emails are automated, some filters (especially Gmail) might move them to your Promotions or Spam folder.
- Search for "Subvert": Use your email’s search bar to look for messages from
info@subvert.fm.
2. Common Fixes
- Check the Email Spelling: It sounds simple, but a small typo in your email address on the previous screen is the most common reason for a missing code. Close the modal and try entering your email again.
- Are you using a Work Email? Some corporate or university firewalls block automated sign-in emails entirely. If you’re using one of these, you might want to try a personal email address.
- Don't Spam the Button: If you click "Request New Code" multiple times, it invalidates the previous codes. Wait a full minute before requesting a new one to ensure the most recent code is the one you're using.
3. Still Having Trouble?
If you've checked your folders and waited a few minutes without luck, we’re here to help.
- Browser Issues: Try opening Subvert in an Incognito/Private window or a different browser (like Firefox or Chrome). Occasionally, a browser extension can interfere with the sign-in modal.
